Chapter 22:
In the following half month, due to Lu Huanzhou's deliberate provocations, as well as Shi Yu's efforts to gain his trust, he couldn't help me.
I lost a lot of resources again.
Luckily, there was a director I had previously worked with who appreciated my acting skills and gave me a supporting actress role.
The role wasn't too big, and I would wrap up shooting in a month.
It happened to be the type of role that interested me.
"One month is enough," I comforted my disappointed manager.
"After one month, some things will become clear."
Once I joined the crew, I became busy with filming, and I didn't message Shi Yu as often.
He was left alone, feeling very lonely.
He would send me videos in the middle of the night.
I only watched ten seconds before blushing and closing it, then sent him a message: "Shi Yu, are you a pervert??"
"I am, so what? Yin Yin, do you like perverts?"
"..."
That afternoon, he finally sent a message: "The final stage of the net is closing."
"It's almost over, Yin Yin."
I put away my phone and looked at the beautiful scenery of the resort in front of me.
This was the last shooting location for me in the crew.
However, I didn't expect that "Ten Dreams, Nine Peace" would also come here for filming.
As I changed my clothes and came out, I coincidentally bumped into Lin Bailu, who was wearing elegant white clothes, and Lu Huanzhou, who came to visit her.
"Lu Shuyin," I pretended not to see them, but Lu Huanzhou called me, "I have given you many chances, but you never repent."
He twisted the Buddhist beads in his hand and looked at me with that annoyingly compassionate yet cold expression, "Your future, whatever it may be, will be all your own doing."
I stopped walking and turned to look at him, suddenly smiling, "Yes, Lu Huanzhou, whatever my future may be, it will be my own doing.
Remember that."
